Shot in the summer heat of 2019 at the Kelso Sand Dunes, this black-and-white print leans into abstraction. At first glance, you’re not quite sure what you’re looking at — just shadows and forms in a sweeping gradient. But as your eyes move up the frame, a single figure appears, revealing the story.
The dunes were untouched when we arrived. No footprints. No distractions. Just clean lines, soft gradients, and light playing off texture — all of which helped shape one of my favorite minimal compositions.
