Shot on safari in Zambia during the summer of 2018, this image is a personal favorite from that day. Danielle and I had taken some time to explore before joining our friends at their local nonprofit, Jedidiah Learning Steps.
What stayed with me wasn’t just the landscape — it was this moment. The texture in the elephant’s skin. The weight in his eye. It felt honest. Still does.
