Product Photography in Los Angeles

Justin Mein is a Los Angeles product photographer shooting for brands that sell online: e-commerce catalogs, campaign imagery, and everything between. Studio or location, single product or full line, the job is the same — photographs that show texture, scale, and the reason someone hits add to cart. Clients include Nike, Magic Leap, Lululemon, and Coca-Cola.

What I shoot

E-commerce and catalog. Clean, consistent imagery across your whole product line, shot to spec for your store, Amazon, or marketplace listings.

Lifestyle product. Your product in real hands and real contexts, from sake bottles at dusk to jewelry in morning light.

Food and beverage products. Appetite-first work for packaged goods, sauces, supplements, and drinks. For restaurant menus and plated dishes, see food photography in Los Angeles.

Beauty and wellness. Texture-true photography for cosmetics, hair care, and personal care brands.

How it works

Every project starts with the outcome, not the shot list. What are these photos supposed to do for you? Lift a product page’s conversion, cut returns, launch a new line, land wholesale accounts? We work backward from there. The goal shapes the concept, the concept shapes the shot list, and the shot list shapes the estimate, so every frame we plan has a job.

Then it’s production. The shoot runs in our in-office product studio or on location around Los Angeles, and we rent larger stages when the scope calls for it. You review a proof gallery, and retouched finals arrive on the timeline set in the SOW. Up against a launch? Expedited delivery is doable.

Pricing

Day rates start at $2,500 for a single photographer. Every quote is scoped to the job: product count, shots per product, styling, and usage. You’ll know the number before anything is booked. For a full breakdown of what drives the number, see product photography pricing.

FAQ

How much does product photography cost in Los Angeles?
Day rates start at $2,500 for a single photographer. Total project cost depends on product count, styling, retouching, and usage rights. Simple e-commerce sets cost less than styled campaign work, and you get a fixed quote up front.

How fast can you deliver?
The timeline is set in the SOW based on scope and deliverables. Expedited turnarounds are available when you’re up against a launch.

Studio or location?
Both. There’s a product and portrait studio in our office, and we rent larger stages when a project needs more room. Location shoots run anywhere in greater Los Angeles.

Do I own the images?
You get a usage license scoped to your needs. Most e-commerce clients get unlimited web and marketing use, and a full buyout is available.

Can you match my existing brand look?
Yes. Send reference images and brand guidelines and the shot list gets built around them.
