Captured in 2024 during my second trip to Iceland, this aerial photograph of Krafla Crater offers a rare look at its dramatic, snow-striped terrain. Taken with the Mavic Pro 3, the high-altitude volcanic landscape had recently emerged from snowfall, leaving snow only in its valleys while its peaks stood bare. The result is a surreal, striped texture unlike anything else in Iceland.
