Mars on Earth
Captured from above in Iceland’s Myvatn region, this aerial print showcases the raw beauty of volcanic terrain and wetlands shaped by centuries of eruptions. The iron-rich earth glows in natural rust tones, contrasted by patches of green marshland and deep fissures in the rock — a dramatic visual that could easily be mistaken for satellite imagery of Mars.
This area lies just beyond the shadow of Hverfjall Volcano, a surreal expanse where land, water, and fire-carved formations converge. It’s a landscape that challenges your sense of place and scale, equal parts violent and serene.
