Lake Crowley Mammoth Print – Limited Edition

Lake Crowley Mammoth – California, 2020

This photograph captures one of the more surreal scenes from my time in Mammoth: a floating toilet adrift on Lake Crowley, framed by an otherworldly orange sky. On this day, wildfires from nearby Yosemite National Park cast a strange glow over the landscape, transforming the lake into a mix of eerie warmth and vivid blue.

It’s equal parts absurd and beautiful — a reminder of nature’s unpredictability and how even in the most serene places, unexpected details can steal the show.
